Strike???

Are you beginning to wonder if I'm on blog strike?? Well, I'm not...I've just been tired, busy and overwhelmed lately and the past week I've been a little under the weather. We traveled to my mom and dad's for Thanksgiving week and on Tuesday I came down with a minor stomach thing. That is better now...now I am battling a nasty cold. Tis the season, right??

I do have pictures from the kids' Thanksgiving week at school...I hope to catch up this week.

This week promises to be just as busy since Jack's parents will be arriving on Friday. We did get most of our Christmas decorations done but Christmas shopping is another story. I'm having a difficult time with Christmas this year. I feel so overwhelmed with everything else happening in our lives that it is hard for me to focus. Also, I already feel a sense of sadness over Jack's year remote to Saudi and my brain is going nonstop with the details of two major moves so close together.

We have also agreed to REALLY scale back on Christmas this year (especially for the kids). The first reason is the downsizing move in April...we don't want to have to put brand new things in storage because there is no room when we move to Excel. The other reason is that we are really trying to stick to a strict budget to save money for the move and for the things that we need to buy for Jack before he goes overseas.
