OH. SO. SASSY

You are probably all aware (based on previous posts) that our little Kylee Anne is one sassy little Miss Priss. Not really in a backtalk smarty pants kinda way but more like just in a very girly, super prissy and very sassy kinda way. At three years old...we actually think it is pretty cute...most of the time. She says the FUNNIEST things sometimes...usually it isn't so much what she says but the attitude with which she says it!! To get the full effect...well, you've just gotta be here. Sometimes she just really cracks me up and I just wanna share it...so...today you all can be my audience.

A little bit ago Kylee Anne went into her room and closed the door. A few minutes later, I opened the door to put away some random toy that had been left in the living room. Kylee Anne was standing above a basket of hers filled with stuffed animals and she had a pretty stern look on her face. She looked at me...I think I made a curious face back at her.

KA: Mom, Can I have a talk?

Me: Of course...but who are you going to talk to??

KA: Well (hands placed on hips)....I am talking to my animals. Mom, these animals are just making me very serious.

Me: Why, Kylee Anne?? Why are your animals making you so serious??

KA: You know how they are (said with much attitude...you know like a mom who has just had it). You need to go, Mom. Close the door, please, we need our privacy for this talk. These animals are making me craaaaaaazy!!!!

I have to confess that I think she heard the "making me crazy" line from me...

When you read the above dialogue you can read it with your best southern drawl...she is developing quite the accent!!
