Being home in Alabama has some INCREDIBLE benefits. The least of which is being able to have some face time with one of my best friends ever, Shae. Shae and I are hometown homies, sorority sisters and college roommates. In short, we've been through it ALL together. In July, the kids and I went to Birmingham for Shae's birthday and some girly girl time. Her husband, Scott, was a dear and kept all 6 kiddos so Shae and I could "hang". FUN!! That's a picture of our night at Sips 'n' Strokes. Scott, Shae and I loaded up all the kiddos and headed to Lake Martin. Shae's sweet mom did some babysitting so that the 21 and over crowd could go to AQUAPALOOZA. Okay, Aquapalooza, was too much fun. We were on a boat on the front row. The front row for Alan Jackson on Lake Martin. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!
The next day we just spent hanging on Lake Martin with the Stafford clan.

So fun! It was great meeting up with you guys and painting. We definitely need to get back together before you leave!! Aquapalooza looked like SO much fun. I would love to go sometime!!
