Dixie's first week

Our new little kitty, Dixie, has survived her first week in our house. She is doing well and everything is finally returning to normal around here. She is getting adjusted to the kids and the kids are getting adjusted to her. Kylee Anne is still a little too rough sometimes but she is getting better and Dixie is learning to RUN when need be!!

When Jack returned from Eglin on Sunday, it was not love at first sight. He really loved Dixie but the initial feeling was not mutual. As soon as she laid eyes on him she made a quick exit and hid for hours. It has taken a couple of days but she has finally decided that he isn't so bad. Last night, she slept curled up to him all night. Great, another daddy's girl!! That's all we need! SMILE!
