World Down Syndrome Day

Today, March 21st, is World Down Syndrome Day.

Seems like a good day to highlight Jack's uncle Pete. Oh my goodness, we love Pete!! He just celebrated his 53rd birthday and is still going strong.

I also wanted to highlight another story that I found through Beth's blog. The little girls name is Chelsea. She is a very special little girl with Down Syndrome that is battling leukemia. It is a very touching story that you will want to follow and also offer your prayers. Her mom is having a special Mary Kay campaign to sell 100 tubes of mascara. For every 20 that she sells, Chelsea's dad can afford to take the day off and spend it at the hospital with the family while Chelsea is undergoing her chemotherapy.
