MOTHERS
Real Mothers don't eat quiche; they don't have time to make it.
Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox.
Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids.
Real Mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up.
Real Mothers sometimes ask 'Why me?'
and get their answer when a little voice says,
'Because I love you best.'
Real Mothers know that a child's growth is not measured by height or years or grade...
It is marked by the progression of Mommy to Mom to Mother...
Happy Mother's Day to all you "real mommas"! This is a poem Ryan gave me at Muffins with Mom on Friday. I LOVED it!!
Happy Mother's Day to my Momma! I love you and am so thankful for everything you do...our family is so lucky to have you! Thank you for teaching me to be a REAL MOTHER!

I love the poem. It makes me feel much better about my oven and kitchen utensils- mine are mainly drumsticks- who needs to mash a potato anyway when you can just get those flakes??
