I would like to ask all of you to add a name to your prayer list. My dear friend, Katie, recently learned that her mom has breast cancer. She is already a cancer survivor....she had colon cancer 11 years ago. She now faces a double mastectomy and chemotherapy. Katie is due to have baby #3 in about 10 weeks. Her mom will have 6 weeks of post-op recovery and then will begin her chemotherapy treatment.
AGD girls, you might remember Katie from college. She was a KD but she worked with me in the housing office...so if you lived on campus, she and I (and Shae too) might have scrubbed crud from your microfridge during the summer months.
Anyway, please pray for Katie and her family. Pray that her mom, Susan, will be healed and able to be there for Katie's new baby's arrival. Katie will have a C-Section and we all know that even after you are all grown up, nobody can take care of you like your own momma.
Katie, please know that you, your mom and the entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers
