A long day of travel

We are in Washington...YAY!!! Finally...we've been waiting for this trip! Friday night we got to stay with my dear friend Shae and her precious family in B'ham...a fun time was had by all. It was so great to get to spend some time with Shae and Scott. Ms. Shae won the kids' hearts forever by sending some of her homemade cookies, muffins and sausage balls with us for airplane snack food...YUMMY!! Ryan and Kylee Anne had so much fun with their four kids...Libby, Andrew, Lauren Kate and Simon.

Saturday morning we were off to the airport for an early flight. It was a good travel day...no complaints. I mean, any 13 hour travel day with two preschoolers will have moments...but nothing major and we couldn't have asked for the children to handle it all any better. WHEW!!!!
