WHOA....look at that big rock!

That is what Kylee Anne said when she first saw Stone Mountain. It's been a few weeks now since we spent a very lovely spring-like day at Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta. We've lived in Georgia for almost 4 years and Stone Mountain has always been on our "we really should go there" list. Well, our time is running out and we decided to make a day trip to check it out...turned out to be a good idea....CHECK it off the list.

Do you know about "Ride the Ducks"?? If you don't...you should. It's an open air vehicle that cruises around on land and then splashes down into the water for an awesome boat ride. SO...MUCH...FUN!! I had been on a duck once before in Seattle. When I saw that Stone Mountain had this attraction, I KNEW that the kiddos MUST do this. I was right...THEY WERE THRILLED!! Ryan even got to drive (in the water, of course).

This is the carved out mural on the side of this big honkin' rock...bigger than it looks! See the back of Stonewall Jackson's horse (he's in the forefront)...you can fit two school buses end to end there!! WHAT??
