4.5...is that an age?

Four years and six months ago today I became a mommy. I cannot believe that Ryan is racing toward 5 years old. I know that technically 4 1/2 isn't a milestone but 4 seems like the last year that you really take stock of the 1/2. Developmentally six months makes a huge difference in the first few years of life... but you rarely hear 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 or 32 1/2. I just wanted to give a nod to this day because it is just all going by much too quickly for this mommy. I know that I can't keep them small forever...but some days I wish I could just freeze these moments in time.

These are the big brown eyes that have been melting my heart for 4 1/2 years now.
