The kids are going to the same school they attended last year...WE LOVE THEIR SCHOOL!!!!! I fell in love with Ryan's teacher today. They will jump right into their academic year starting the ABEKA curriculum tomorrow. Ryan is SOOOO excited about this school year. He also LOVED his teacher and he has several friends from last year in his class.
Mrs. Young (that's the teacher) will definitely have her hands full this year. She has 14 students...10 are boys.
Now for a quick note about my personal mommy agony. As we were leaving him this morning, I leaned down to get a quick good bye kiss. He cut his eyes around the table, looking at all his little friends and said to me, "NOT HERE". Four...really...is four really the age that he can't kiss me anymore in front of other kids? No mommy tears because I was distracted by Kylee Anne who was NOT happy about Ryan going to school without her today. Once I was in the car pulling away and Kylee Anne was settled...my heart truly ached (and then there were mommy tears). Not because he didn't want to kiss me...just because we got to this day so quickly.
