And the Oscar goes to....

ME!!! Okay, so it isn't an Oscar but it is my very own blog award. Fellow blogger, Tiffany, over at Reagan Marie gave me this sweet recognition. Not only is she a fellow mommy blogger, but she is also a real life sorority sister from my days at Troy University (formerly known as Troy State...back in the day). She is a good ole' southern girl freezin' her hiney off in Canada. Maybe she'll be my mentor for my transition to cold weather living!

There are some rules for passing on the award:

So....Seven things I love...

warm sunny spring days...sweet snuggles and sloppy kisses from my two little ones...having a few minutes to myself ...CHOCOLATE, in most any variety...date nights with my husband and best friend when we can relax and have some adult conversation...long talks with lifetime friends (you know the kind where you cry a little and laugh a lot)...the sweet, sweet laughter of my kids (sweetest sound on earth)...

Now...Seven blogs I love...

Meet the Parmers. Over there, you'll meet Beth...3 kids, 3 and under...FUN STUFF!! She is family and you will sometimes see her kids guest starring on my blog...especially after we move back to Alabama. Her husband (my cousin) is a chiropractor...you'll love to meet their family.

Happenings in Holliewood. You'll meet sweet Hollie and her awesome doggie, Janie. Hollie is such a fabulous person...she teaches at the Children's Hospital in Birmingham. I love her and miss her so much. We were roommates and dear friends (and alpha gam sisters) in Troy and have had some HILARIOUS times!

The Snow Forecast. This is awesome momma, Katie. She is my dear friend and an ex-partner in crime! Her blog is private for her family's privacy but I know she would love to have you come on over. Just leave a comment here and she can add you so that you can read it. You really should...she is very funny and a really awesome writer.

The Ceravolo Chronicles. This is the blog of my friend, Emily. She's a hometown girl, as well as sorority sista. I want you to visit her blog because you have GOTTA see her pictures. She has a new photography business...you can link to her photography website and blog from this blog. Y'ALL, go check out her work...AMAZING!!

Base Kennedy. This is the blog of our friends, the Kennedys. They are another military famiy and they live in Japan. They'll be headed back state side soon. They have kids that are almost exactly the same age as our kiddos. Jack and Tim had a tight friendship while we were all stationed at Tyndall in Florida. Tim's apartment was the venue of the party where Jack and I first met.

Me and My Three Boys. You guys should pop over to Annie's blog. She is also a fellow TSU gal and sorority sister. They have some super adorable little men and are expecting a new little girl soon. Her blog is so much fun and if nothing else, you should check out her Thursday Random Thoughts...TOO FUNNY!!!

The Other Mama. Hillary's blog is such an amazing read...you'll definitely want to add it to your blogroll and check in daily. She is a fabulous writer and stinkin' hilarious. She is also...well, you know, right? a sorority sister! (i'm lovin' me some alpha gam girls...come on in, join the fun...) She recently had a really rockin' giveaway (in case you need another reason to be her blog friend). Do yourself a favor (especially if you are a momma) and pop over there to read her latest post about juggling motherhood. You'll be glad you did!

So...those are seven of my favorite blogs. Seven can't even come close to being all the blogs that I read and LOVE!! I do LOVE some Alpha Gamma Delta girls' blogs...they are all amazing women and I enjoy following along in their daily lives. Most of you that read my blog know me and probably know a lot of these ladies. You may even read their blogs already. Nonetheless, they are all note worthy and you will love them all!
