We are having a little bit of a moving out crisis around here. A moving out of military housing crisis, that is. I know very few of you guys know what the stress and pressure of moving out of a military home is like...it's HUGE. As a former member of Troy University's very esteemed (hehehe) housing office team, let me just tell you that Sara Jo ain't got nothin' on Uncle Sam. (you must have dealt with the housing office at Troy to get that...but those of you that did will LAUGH, i know it!!)
Anyway, back to my mini crisis.
It comes in the form of an unidentifiable stain in a closet (of all places). It's so bizarre...it is a closet in the very seldom entered guest room and I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what the heck it is. I honestly don't need the stress. We've decided to hire a cleaning crew to do the cleaning to meet our dear old Uncle's standards but this stain is throwing a hitch in the whole plan. UGH!!!
So, any ideas?? It is a reddish color and I'm not kidding when I say that I have NO IDEA. I thought maybe it was some type of mold but that doesn't seem to be the case either. Stain removing ideas are needed. HELP US!!

I wish I knew what to tell you! All I can say is that I was cracking up at the Sara Jo reference!
ReplyDeleteWell don't try that Woolite rug stick thingie. That thing is crap!!! We have a mysterious smell in Wylie's room, and I myself am trying everything. I will let you know when I find something. Does Oxyclean make a carpet cleaner?
ReplyDeleteOh no! I'm sorry. :( I can't imagine the stress of having to leave a perfect house.
ReplyDeleteHope you find the magic solution to get that stain out!!! :)
Baaaaaaaaaaaahhhh! Sara Jo is STILL rocking Troy's housing world! I heard her name dropped just the other night while I was in Troy. There was another not-so-nice word dropped right after it as well.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the stain goes, ask the cat.
HA! Sara Jo!!! What memories!!! Hmmm...not sure what to tell you. You tried resolve high traffic granules? It's helped us with lots of stuff. Depending on what the stain is it may not work, but worth a shot! Maybe you should call Sara Jo....
ReplyDeleteIf I had any sort of a brain I would laugh at Sara Jo, but I can't remember squat.
ReplyDeleteOH NO on the stain! What a stressful situation! I wish I knew some sort of domestic anything. Have you googled it?
Oh no!! That's the worst!! Check martha stewart's site... she always seems to have a trick up her well-starched sleeve!!
