Macon is famous for it's many cherry blossoms...the Cherry Blossom Festival is the biggest thing happenin' every spring. There are around 300,000 cherry blossom trees throughout the town and when they are all in bloom...WOW!! We've never even been to the Cherry Blossom Festival. Why?? I don't really know why...just never been. This year was no different. We didn't go. So, while the kids and I were in Macon yesterday, we paid one last visit to the beautiful blooms before we move out of the area.
We waited too late, I think. The hard and constant rain last week really worked on all the blooms. So, they weren't in their most beautiful state...still pretty, though.
