Birthday Boy (part 2)...just the 4 of us

Since Jack was out of town for Ryan's birthday party, we planned a special family day on his actual birthday. The kids have been asking forEVER if we would take them bowling. I don't really know how they know so much about bowling but ,nonetheless, they've been begging for some pin action. That is exactly what they got to start the "day of Ryan" on March 21st. Man, did they have fun!!

Kylee Anne was not thrilled with the shoe selection. It was hilarious!! All day long she complained that she didn't want to wear the "handsome" shoes she needs BEAUTIFUL shoes. Y'all know that I am raising quite the diva over here!

After bowling, we took the kids out for some yummy dinner at our new Mellow Mushroom. UM, UM, GOOD!!

Finally, we topped off the day with Ryan's third birthday cake (1st was at his party, the next was at school and finally one at home). He picked a lovely cake made with cupcakes from Publix. Complete with racing cars and a monster truck...boys will be boys, I guess. Some more YUMMY!! Of course, there was also ice cream...HELLO....don't feed the children cake and ice cream after 5 p.m. Oh well, he only gets one 5th birthday!! And this completes the week of Ryan's birthday celebrations!!
