Eggs, Eggs, and more Eggs

We were on a serious quest for some eggs. You know, the plastic, loaded with candy, hidden in the bushes kind of eggs. The kids finished off their last week of school before Spring Break with some Easter fun.

This is Kylee Anne's class preparing for some crazy egg huntin'! Poor Kylee Anne...her mother dressed her like it was 70 degrees outside. However, it was not 70 degrees outside (YET)...it was a little chilly and very windy. Thankfully, the above mentioned mother found a sweatshirt in the car so that the child didn't freeze during the hunt! Sorry, baby!! Mommy will try to be more diligent with checking out the weather before heading out the door!

AND.....they're off!!

And here we have some photographic evidence of my little drama queen's dramatic antics. She is pouting because she had reached her limit of eggs.

Back in the classroom...LET'S PAR-TAY!!

Half an hour later, it was time for Ryan's class to have a turn.

After Ryan's class had gathered all of the eggs in sight, we had a very nice picnic lunch on the church lawn. Thankfully, it was warming up nicely by the time Ryan's class ventured outside.

So, we are embarking on our Spring Break. Only it isn't much of a break at all. I'll be busy packing and preparing for our big move...with the kids at home to help me...YAY!!
